About This Tour
The Singapore River Cruise Tour takes you along the Singapore River by bumboat, a flat-bottomed boat that has been used on this river for a long time. It is a relaxed way to see the city from the water, with a guide pointing out what you are passing and giving you context along the way.
The cruise goes past Clarke Quay and Boat Quay, two of the most recognisable stretches of the river. Both areas are lined with old shophouses that have been converted into restaurants and bars. From the water, you get a different view of them than you do from the street.
From there, the boat heads out toward Marina Bay. You get a clear view of Marina Bay Sands, the ArtScience Museum, the Esplanade, and the rest of the city waterfront from the water. It is a good spot for photos, and the guide will tell you what you are looking at as you pass.
After the cruise, the tour includes a meal at a riverside restaurant. The guide can recommend dishes based on your preference.
